I got Spike when Thisbee was about 3 and for a few months it seemed like she would never get used to him. This photo was taken the first day I saw this -- he likes to sleep on top of her -- soooooo cute!

AMERICA: JACK THE Cat seized the collective insight in the US. Now he has united thousands of Americans in grief.
It started last August 25th, when Karen Pascoe (42) checked in for an American Airlines trip from New York to San Francisco with her pet cats, Jack and Barry. Pascoe was moving to San Jose, where she had found a job with a software company.
Just before boarding, Pascoe received a call on her quick phone. Jack and Barry’s carriers had been stacked one on top of the other in the baggage section. When Jack’s pen fell over, it unlocked and Jack escaped, a memo from the Department of Transportation explained later.
Hurricane Irene was barrelling towards the eastern seaboard. Parts of New York were being evacuated. The airport was to be bar down. Attempts to find Jack were delayed by several days.
The Facebook page started by Pascoe’s sister, called “Jack the Cat is Irrecoverable in AA Baggage at JFK”, would eventually have 23,000 friends.
When settlers sailed from Britain to North America they carried cats on game table passenger liner as working cats to shield the stores from mice. 9. Siamese
Model Well-spring The acute cat known in the East as “Siamese” is one of several breeds of cats from Siam described and illustrated in manuscripts called “Tamra Maew” (Cat Poems), estimated to have been written in the 1700s. It is often said that the cultivate was first seen casing their Asian placid in 1884, when the British Consul-Mixed in Bangkok, Edward Blencowe Gould (1847–1916), brought a raising doublet of the cats, Pho and Mia, back to Britain as a strong point for his sister, Lilian Jane Veley (Veley went on to co-found the Siamese Cat Consortium in 1901). However, in 1878, U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes received “Siam”, a honorarium from the American Consul in Bangkok; this cat was also the first documented Siamese to reach the In harmony States, and predates the Siamese’s tourist to the UK by 6 years. The name ‘Abyssinian’ refers to Ethiopia, but most of the stories about the origins of Abyssinians refer to Egypt. Genetic probe suggests the family originated nearby the littoral of the Indian Bounding main, where colonists may have purchased animals from enthusiastic brute traders. The stock was developed in Egypt. The hatch is sometimes believed to have originated from one Egyptian female kitten named Zula, who was bewitched from a mooring in Alexandria by a British soldier and brought to England. This theory is not established because there is no continuous associate between Zula and the cat first listed as an Abyssinian in 1882.[3] Many sources replication the scenario that the Abyssinian rear is a few thousand years old and comes from Hoary Egypt, as the cats correspond to those in prehistoric paintings. A fully grown Bengal cat is typically sized similarly to a Brobdingnagian Native Shorthair. Males are generally speaking bigger than females.
They are customarily moderately exaggerated (i.e big limbs), but are by no means exceptionally obese – for illustration they are smaller than the Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat breeds. Most males I have seen are about “big ginger moggy” expanse.
I have a 5 month old Bengal masculine and he weighs 2.3Kg, which is diet above mediocre for his age I find credible.
