Umbria, Italy
Priceless, if you’re buying a detached stone farmhouse with views over half
the countryside. A more affordable (and convivial) way of owning a property
in Umbria is to buy a portion of a big house. You get high ceilings, a piece
of story and a share of a swimming pool thrown in for good measure.
